The White Monks are returning to Blanchland!
There will be white monks in Blanchland again. On Saturday, 10 August, at 11.30am, Father Thomas, Prior of St Mary’s Priory, Muston, Yorkshire, will be celebrating mass in the abbey, probably the first Norbertine mass since the Abbey’s dissolution in 1539. He will be accompanied by Father Martin and 13 associates.
Anyone who wishes will be welcome to attend the service.
