As we head through summer and into autumn, Blanchland and the surrounding area is reflecting the new season – bringing in the harvest, berries on the rowan trees, blackberries starting to ripen and the first signs of autumnal colour on the trees – it’s a perfect time of year to explore the great outdoors and a wander around our beautiful village.
