On Saturday, 10 August 2024, Father Thomas, Prior of St Mary’s Priory, Muston, Yorkshire, and his fellow Premonstratensian cannons celebrated mass in Blanchland Abbey.
This was probably the first Norbertine mass since the Abbey was dissolved by King Henry VIII in 1539.
It was wonderful to welcome them here.
