Thanks to the wonders of modern communications, people from anywhere in the world can access the information on these web pages and help enhance the site with their own stories, photos and records.
Since beginning work on this website in April 2008, I have had contact with people from Australia, Germany, Spain and Argentina, all of whom have had some past connection with Hunstanworth and want to contribute to the information on the website or use some of the content in their own research. I’ve also had pictures, newspaper cuttings and original documents loaned by people much closer to home. Whether it’s 12 miles or 12,000 – it really doesn’t matter any more!
I’ve set this section up so that people who have Hunstanworth ancestors or perhaps once lived in the parish themselves can tell their own family histories, and how the events of the past have made them the people they are today.
